Dryline — Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of dryline.farm and related services (the "Service"). Dryline is operated by Dryline Technologies LLC, a Montana limited liability company. In these Terms, "Dryline," "we," and "us" mean that company. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You're responsible for your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current.

2. What the Service is

Dryline is a ranch record-keeping service. Signed in, you and the people on your ranch can keep a private ledger of your operation — devices, places, events, jobs, feeding, hay, rain, and similar records — and see summaries built from those records.

Dryline also shows public reference information by county: drought conditions, USDA program indicators and estimates, weather, and market prices, drawn from public sources such as the U.S. Drought Monitor, NOAA, the National Weather Service, USDA, and market reports. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

3. Reference information is informational only

Drought, program, weather, and market information in the Service is general information and estimates for planning purposes. It is not legal, financial, tax, agronomic, veterinary, or professional advice, and is not a substitute for your own judgment or the advice of qualified professionals or the relevant government agency.

4. Government programs — important

Dryline is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the USDA, the Farm Service Agency (FSA), the Risk Management Agency (RMA), or any government agency. Any drought conditions, eligibility indicators, deadlines, or payment figures shown in the Service — including figures in alert emails — are unofficial estimates for planning purposes only, based on publicly available data and program rules that may change or contain errors. They are not a determination of eligibility and not a guarantee that you will receive any payment or amount.

Actual eligibility, deadlines, and payment amounts for the Livestock Forage Disaster Program (LFP), Pasture, Rangeland, Forage insurance (PRF), and any other program are determined solely by FSA and RMA. You are responsible for confirming current rules, filing the required forms (such as CCC-853) with your local FSA office or your crop insurance agent, and meeting all deadlines. Dryline is not responsible for any application, decision, missed deadline, denied benefit, or payment outcome.

5. Your ranch records

Your ranch records belong to you. We use them only to provide and improve the Service to you. We do not sell them, and we do not share them with third parties except the processors needed to run the Service (listed in our Privacy Policy). You can export your records at any time by asking us (see Section 14); we will provide them in a common machine-readable format.

You are responsible for the records you and the people on your ranch enter, and for who you add to your ranch. You agree not to: enter records you have no right to keep; misuse, scrape, or overload the Service; attempt to access another ranch's records or circumvent security; or use the Service for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, software, and branding, is owned by Dryline and protected by law. Public data displayed in the Service belongs to its respective sources and is subject to their terms. You may not copy, resell, or create derivative services from the Service without permission. Nothing in this section gives us any ownership of your ranch records.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE OR ANY DATA, ESTIMATE, OR SUMMARY IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, CURRENT, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR SECURE. Keep your own copies of records that matter to you.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DRYLINE AND ITS OWNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, MISSED BENEFITS OR DEADLINES, PERSONAL INJURY, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dryline and its owners from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, the records you enter, or your violation of these Terms or any law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time; you may export your records first. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or for any lawful reason.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

12. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a business transfer. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Dryline about the Service. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. We'll post the new effective date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
