Dryline — Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 2, 2026
Last updated: June 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Dryline ("Dryline," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use dryline.farm and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by [[ENTITY — Montana LLC formation pending confirmation]], based in Winnett, Montana. You can reach us at [[CONTACT EMAIL — business email setup pending]].
2. Information we collect
Information you give us:
- •Account information — your email address and a password, or you may sign in with a one-time email code or with Google. Authentication is handled through Supabase. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your email address with us; we do not receive your Google password.
- •Profile and operation details you choose to enter — for example, a display name, a short bio, your home county, and ranch/operation information.
- •Marketplace content — hay listings you post (descriptions, prices, quantities, forage-test figures, photos) and the contact method you put in a listing, plus messages, offers, and reviews you submit.
- •Communications — messages you send through the Service and feedback you submit through our in-app feedback widget (which also records the page you were on and your browser type to help us reproduce issues).
Information collected automatically:
- •Usage and device data — pages viewed, features used, approximate location derived from IP, and browser/device type, collected through Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand and improve the Service.
- •Cookies — we use a small number of cookies, mainly to keep you signed in. See Section 6.
We do not collect government identifiers (such as Social Security or FSA farm numbers), bank or payment-card numbers, or sensitive financial account information through the Service.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- •create and maintain your account and keep you signed in;
- •provide the Service's features — drought information, LFP eligibility indicators and estimates, and the hay marketplace;
- •send you transactional messages (sign-in codes, account notices) and the email alerts you ask for (drought/LFP alerts for counties on your watchlist, hay-match alerts for searches you save, and buyer-demand alerts if you opt in);
- •operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service using analytics and your feedback;
- •comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- •With service providers who process data on our behalf: Supabase (authentication and database), Vercel (hosting, plus Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights), Resend (email delivery), and Google (only when you choose to sign in with Google). These providers may use your information only to provide services to us. When you view a map, map tiles are served by OpenStreetMap, which receives your device's IP address as part of loading those images.
- •Between marketplace users — information in a listing, your public seller profile (display name, bio, member-since date, ratings, and reviews), and the contact method you choose are visible to other users so a transaction can happen. Don't put anything in a listing or review you don't want shared publicly.
- •For legal reasons — to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, safety, and property of Dryline, our users, or others.
- •In a business transfer — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
5. Data from public sources
The Service displays data from public sources such as the U.S. Drought Monitor, NOAA, and the National Weather Service. That data is about geographic areas, not about you, and is governed by those sources' own terms.
6. Cookies
We use cookies primarily to keep you signed in (Supabase session cookies). You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect sign-in and some features.
7. Data retention
We keep account information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data (see Section 9). We may retain limited information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., security logs). Our providers (Supabase, Vercel, Resend, Google) may store and process data in the United States or other countries.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices and rights
- •Access / update — you can view and update your account information in the Service.
- •Deletion — you can request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting [[CONTACT EMAIL — business email setup pending]].
- •Email — you can stop email alerts in your profile/watchlist settings or via the link in those emails; you may still receive transactional messages tied to your account.
- •State privacy rights — depending on where you live (e.g., California and other states), you may have additional rights to access, delete, correct, or opt out of certain processing. To exercise them, contact [[CONTACT EMAIL — business email setup pending]].
10. Children
The Service is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. We'll post the new effective date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice.
